St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Store
The St. Vincent dePaul Society in Fredericksburg, VA is an all-volunteer ministry with almost 100 members sharing the Love of Christ by helping those in need since 1978. It takes volunteers doing many jobs to reach our goal of helping families in our area.
Some Volunteer Jobs include:
Being a store cashier or a donations sorter
Joining the phone committee that monitors our voicemail line.
Become a Thursday evening Interviewer after training.
Carry recyclables to the dump.
Drop off textiles we can't use to Good Will for them to make rags.
If you would like to be part of our wonderful ministry, please call 540-898-8065 (an answering machine) and leave your name and phone # and say "I would like to volunteer". A volunteer will call you. You may also email us on the "Contact Us" page or just drop by our thrift store on Monday, Wednesday, Friday or Saturday. There is a place for you to share the Love of Christ.
